Studio ProjectExhibition and Bound Risograph Prints.
Focused on fifteen brutalist buildings across Greater Manchester, the aim of the illustration project has been to capture the modern presence of these bold concrete structures. The project has been two years in the making, during this time, several buildings have been scheduled for demolition leaving the the ones that remain to stand as monuments to a post-war idealism that’s faded over time.
The exhibition was on display at Idle Hands. Print collection (limited to 100 editions) was available to purchase at the launch show and currently after from the Manchester Modernist Society’s online shop.
The exhibition and book launch was supported by G . F Smith, The Manchester Modernist Society, Idle Hands and Cloudwater Brew Co. Special thank you to Textbook Studio for all their help in making this project a reality!
